United Press International posted an article about the development of a new technology that will use radio waves to detect for bed bugs. This new device will use the existing technology developed to scan air travelers.

According to the article, VisiRay of Corvallis of Oregon, recently signed an option agreement with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to create the devices. These devices would potentially use millimeter wave technology to allow inspectors to see through drywall particle boards and view clear images of pests on the other side of a wall.

This technology is currently up and coming, and little information has been documented. BedBug Central is interested in seeing how this will develop and will keep you posted with future developments.
